After months of planning, hard work and incredible support from the community, Tasha is now just R15 000 short of reaching her fundraising target. The funds need to be raised in order for her to fly out on July 27.
Tasha was selected to represent SA in the Atlantic Youth Cup in Ireland for touch rugby. The feat is a major achievement for the teen athlete who has been playing the sport only for a few years now.
Tasha was selected to represent SA after winning accolades like most valuable player in the U21 competition and senior touch rugby player of the year for school. Her work ethic and natural talent have already taken her far, and now she gets to wear the green and gold abroad.
Tasha said, “When I received the news that I had the chance to represent South Africa, I was beyond excited and honoured.”
