Easy To Please is easy to back

By Trevor Reid

Admittedly the form of his maiden win has not really held up but it is worth noting that his conqueror (Triumvirate who runs in this race) has done well since, including another win over this course and distance.

The suspicion though is that Easy To Please has more wins in him and could start his journey through the divisions with another win. The Newton four-year-old colt gets the services of Andrew Fortune.

Triumvirate is 1.5kg better off and beat Easy To Please by 1.75 lengths in June so clearly has to be respected, especially as he appears to be at his very best over this course and distance. Trainer Corne Spies could be the one to follow on the card as I give winning chances to all of All The Bids, (Race 3) Boarding Call (Race 6) and Hawksworth (Race 8).

The Sarel von Willingh Smit yard is always one to watch and The Big Show (Race 7) looks ready to run a big race and an Eachway bet is advised.
