Race me home Nicklaus

Looking for winners in handicap races tends to be difficult but two runners that can go close at Greyville tonight are Nicklaus in Race 7 and Race Me Home in Race 8.

Although drawn wide in stall No 12 Nicklaus will be ridden by Muzi Yeni and that jockey was aboard the five-year-old when winning his latest. The Polytrack clearly suits Nicklaus.

The Dean Kannemeyer-trained Last Tiger has won his last two starts and looks the main threat.

The Doug Campbell yard is at their very best on this surface and Race Me Home may have more to come off a low merit-rating.

The three-year-old Mogok filly only took the starts to get out the maiden ranks and her win was over this course and distance.

The consistent Quintella and Victory Takeover look the likely threats.

Earlier on the card Samovar should win Race 2 and Race 4 should be fought out by The Lonsdale and Noordhoek Ice.
