TOUGH TASK. Fannalies Girl and Andrew Fortune will need some luck to overcome a wide draw in Race 8 at Flamingo Park today.
Trainer Dennis Cason only has a few horses but he generally does pretty well with what he gets and Take Two Turns produced her best yet when winning last time and she can follow up and take Race 8, a FM 62 Handicap over 1200m at Flamingo Park today.
Take Two Turns clearly appreciated the break from October to December as she returned in good heart and finished a close up third behind Ice In Seattle from a very wide draw.
The mare then was a very close up third to Razzle My Tazzle beaten a head and then beat Buddy’s Falcon by two lengths, all over this course and distance.
Cason has replaced apprentice Nicolas Patel who has been his rider for those three runs with Sherman Brown and Take Two Turns could get the run of the race from stall No 6.
Fannalies Girl was eight lengths behind Take Two Turns last time out and has a terrible draw for jockey Andrew Fortune to overcome but there was a lot to like about her previous run when she finished third to Matadoras El Toros.

Jack Friday, in Race 6 the Kimberley 1400 (Non-Black Type), seems to have taken a liking to S’manga Khumalo who was aboard his last two starts and both resulted in easy wins.
Jack Friday beat subsequent dual winner Quid Rides by 2.50 lengths over 1800m in December and followed that up a weak later with 4.25-length success over Lebeoana.
A wide draw and nine points in penalties for those two wins brings a number of runners in with a winning chance.
Jaguar, Move Like Jagger, Sub Shaawes, Just A Jag, Taso The Sailor and Emerald Mackay all have to be respected.
