OOPS! Cape Town marketers stuff up Federer-Nadal poster

Cape Town might still be patting itself on the back for playing host next month to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s charity match.

The two tennis legends already confirmed last year that they were aiming to break the record for the biggest attendance in history.

However, the marketing clearly has left a lot to be desired.

In fact, in tennis parlance it can probably be considered a dreaded double fault.

A discerning Twitter user on Tuesday noticed that a large poster at the Cape Quarter shopping centre in Green Point got it all wrong.

Instead of printing photos of the two arch-rivals opposite each other, Nadal’s portrait is that of Novak Djokovic.

Bummer…
