New AmaZulu striker Camaldine Abraw has pledged to do his best to help Usuthu avoid relegation this season.

The former Kaizer Chiefs and Free State Stars joined AmaZulu on a six-month deal on Wednesday.

“I would like to thank the club for welcoming me. I will bring my best and help to achieve the club’s objectives,” Abraw told the club’s website.

“As a player, I will bring my experience, and will do everything for the club. I know some of the players, but the man who can help all of us is coach Cavin [Johnson].

“We have to follow his instructions and play to our strengths to get the three points.

“As players, we have to adapt whether we know each other or not. The main aim is to listen to the coach and give him what he wants from us,” added Abraw.

AmaZulu are currently 14th on the log with 15 points in as many games.

“If you look at the log, we have to win games and move up. That is the objective of the club, and we will see where that takes us at the end of the season.

“The position right now means we have to work hard and win games for the club,” concluded the Togolese striker.

Usuthu next host SuperSport United at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday night.
