Khama Billiat excited the Naturena training ground before morning training yesterday, sparking a rumour he might have returned injured from international duty with Zimbabwe.

Billiat, however, soon returned, and it turned out he had simply left something at home that he had to fetch. His presence at training, after two tough games for Zimbabwe, will no doubt have been a relief for Ernst Middendorp, who already has Daniel Akpeyi, Erick Mathoho and Willard Katsande suspended for Sunday’s TKO meeting with Maritzburg United.
The 29-year-old scored a brace against Zambia in Zimbabwe’s 2-1 victory against Chipolopolo at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka in a Group H 2021 qualification match for the Afcon tournament.
