Chiefs trialist in hot water
Malawi defender Miracle Gabeya is reportedly training with Chiefs without his club Nyasa Big Bullets' knowledge.
On Friday, Chiefs announced that Gabeya, Italian striker Gustavo Paez and defenders Pedro Henrique Dias DeAmorim from Brazil and Ismael Olivier Toure from Ivory Coast are training with the club.
However, according to Nyasa Times, Gabeya’s club Bullets are not aware that the defender is undergoing trials at Chiefs.
Big Bullets acting general secretary Bizy Kalodzeni told the Malawian publication that they are not aware of Gabeya’s trials at Chiefs.
Kalodzeni said Gabeya left the country on conditions that he is heading to South Africa to visit his family.
He insisted that Gabeya is still contracted to the club.
