Why would I leave Sundowns – Pitso
Pitso Mosimane is in no hurry to leave Mamelodi Sundowns after winning the league and continental club titles with the Pretoria outfit.
Mosimane has been tipped by many as the suitable replacement for Shakes Mashaba in the Bafana Bafana hot seat after the latter was fired following a disciplinary hearing.
However, Jingles says he is staying put at Sundowns.
“Sundowns have turned me into the best coach on the continent. I won the Champions League with them for the first time and the Premiership league title with them for the first time. Why would I leave?” said Mosimane to the Daily Sun.
“I’m happy to be here and want to turn this club into the best side on the continent.
“I have had my fun with Bafana. Leaving this team won’t happen – the timing would be completely wrong. I have received offers from outside but told my pursuers that I want to enjoy the benefits of the hard work I have put in here at Sundowns.
“I won’t change my mind and I hope this will lay the matter to rest once and for all.”
