Gordinho impresses in Europe – reports
Kaizer Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho has reportedly impressed while on trial with Danish side Aalborg.
Gordinho played 90 minutes for Aalborg during their 2-0 defeat against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim on Saturday.
The 22-year-old defender is said to have impressed coach Morten Wieghorst and his technical team.
Wieghorst earlier said it was to early to judge Gordinho, saying he needed more time to assess the Amakhosi defender.
“I think he had a fine workout, but it is too early to judge anything from just a single exercise. He has many things to get used to – a new club, especially a new climate and a new style of play, so it would not be fair to pass a judgment about anything yet,” said Wieghorst.
Gordingo has until tomorrow to convince Wieghorst he is worthy of a contract at Aalborg.
