Tinkler looks for Brockie’s replacement

The departure of SuperSport United Jeremy Brockie has left United coach Eric Tinkler sweating on finding a suitable replacement for the goal poacher.

The New-Zealander left Matsatsantsa to join neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns yesterday (Monday) after spending three seasons with United, scoring 54 goals.

“Finding a striker is not an easy task, especially a striker who is going to score goals. There are plenty of strikers out there, but if you go look at the goals they scored you will see that there are no many out there. So, we want to make sure that the person we bring in is the right person and he is going to add value to the team,” said the Matsatsantsa coach.

Tinkle did not want to give more details on where they are looking for the player, but revealed that it will be a foreign player.
