Things are not going our way – Ertugral

With five games remaining and the club rooted at second from the bottom of the league table, Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral says they have to win at all cost when they host Bidvest Wits at the Athlonw Stadium tonight.

The Ajax coach admitted that things are not going their way at the moment, but added that the spirit in the camp was high ahead of this tie.

“Things are just not going our way at the moment – the ball is not bouncing in our favour, but we can’t let that get us down,” Ertugral told the club’s website.

“The morale is high, we remain positive and we have to win on Wednesday – same on Sunday against a Chippa United side that has confidence following a convincing win over Kaizer Chiefs.”

“We need to win against Bidvest Wits and we are fully focused on doing just that. Our record at home is good – we need to take advantage of that on Wednesday. It is vital that we pick up some sort of momentum.”

The Urban Warriors have only managed to collect 24 points from their last 25 league matches putting on position 15th on the log.

Wits, meanwhile, are looking to get into the Top-eight and they are sitting at position 10th with 32 points and have a game in hand.
