Chiefs star Molangoane on the mend

Joseph Molangoane is said to be making a speedy recovery after he broke his leg in an MTN8 quarterfinal clash against Free State Stars in August.

Molangoane has already done some ball work and sprinting as he is also working on his physical fitness.

“There is a chance he might get to play in the latter stages of the season if the medical team clear him. To be honest, he is doing very well, but again, a leg injury is very sensitive and obviously, they don’t want to rush him back.

“You have to think about the player’s career, plus he is already 30 years old. Once he gets injured again it will be a major blow for him and probably the end of his football career. But he is recovering very well and he will be back soon,” said a source.
