Micho bemoans lack of concentration after shock Pirates defeat

Orlando Pirates head coach Micho Sredojevic believes that lapse in concentration led to his side's loss against Green Eagles in Lusaka on Saturday.

This comes after Pirates suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to the Zambian side, which was making its debut in the Caf Champions League.

“We dominated in almost all aspects of the match except one crucial aspect which was putting the ball in the back of the net,” Sredojevic told Pirates TV after the match.

“We applied ourselves very well. Unfortunately, a lapse of concentration at the beginning of the second half (led to the Eagles goal).

“We were clear on one side and then we lost the ball in an important position which is defensive midfield. The deflection put the opposition player in a position to put the ball in the back of the net,” he added.

Pirates are set to host Eagles in the second leg of the preliminary round on the weekend of the 23-25
