Anywhere in Europe would do for Percy Tau

Anywhere in Europe is fine, insists Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau.

The Mamelodi Sundowns forward is not picky in terms of which European league he would love to ply his trade as his name has been bandied about with a move away from South Africa.

“I can’t say I would love to go to a place that I don’t know, but a lot of teams would suit my style and most playing systems would suit me. But in the end, I can’t decide my destiny,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sundowns Pitso Mosimane is not bitter over Thapelo Morena’s (above) exclusion from the Bafana Bafana team that won the four Nations tournament in Zambia last week.

“Morena played in the 2016 Olympics and it would be a nice progression. But we need to respect the coach on whoever he selects … there is no need to go with players who are not going to Qatar in 2022,” said Mosimane.

“We should give [Baxter] credit, he has changed the team. It is okay, we should support the national team. Bafana is a difficult environment.”
