Banyana star wins an award
Just a month after captaining Banyana Banyana to their fourth Cosafa Cup title, midfielder Refieloe Jane was named the Sportswoman of the Year by the Tshwane University of Technology this week.

The 25-year old, who is currently in camp with Banyana ahead of Sunday’s international friendly at the Dobsonville Stadium against Burkina Faso, is one of the most experienced Banyana players in the team having made her debut back in 2012 against Ireland.
Fifinho, as Jane is affectionately known in the football circles, has represented the University Sports South Africa (USSA) team at the 2013, 2015 and 2017 World student games.
She has also represented the senior national women’s team at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
