De Sa left frustrated after Baroka draw

Platinum Stars coach Roger De Sa says Sunday’s draw against log leaders Baroka FC feels like a loss.

Dikwena twice led the match only to let in a late equaliser from Robin Ngalande to share the spoils at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“It’s frustrating. How many times should we have won? You don’t mind been beaten fair and square. You come back and try to do it. But when it’s there and you don’t do it, it’s frustrating,” said De Sa.

“Our decision making needs to be better in both attack and defence. It’s individual errors. That’s the problem. It’s the mistakes that are hurting us. We can see that, and we speak about it. We need to get that right. A win will come. In most games since I have been at Platinum Stars, we should have won. We may not have won but we have been performing. That’s a good sign. A win will come,” added the former Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates coach.

“It does feel like a loss because of the way the game went. Playing a team on top of the log away from home it was a good result. It’s just the way it was achieved that is disappointing.

“The goals came from our mistakes. We will work on it. We will continue to try and improve. We will try and coach. It’s a coaching job. Now we have to teach our players to be better. That’s it,” concluded De Sa.

Star will travel to Polokwane again to face Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 6.
