Dikwena target Orlando Pirates scalp

Platinum Stars coach Roger De Sa is confident that his side will register their first win of the season when they face Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

Dikwena are yet to win, having managed two draws and five losses in the seven Premiership matches played so far this season. De Sa is confident that his men will turn the corner.

“With every game it’s an opportunity to get that win. We keep on believing that it is coming. As soon as we turn that over, I think we have got enough to go on a bit of a run,” said De Sa.

“I am pretty happy with a lot of things that we do. It’s more of the individuals’ mistakes that we are still making. We give the ball away in areas that we shouldn’t. We make errors in areas that are crucial. It’s really the individual mistakes that are creeping in. You have got to work on daily.

“Players have got to work on that daily so we will keep on doing it and hopefully we will get better. We make silly passes and our decision making in the final third is not great. That’s what we have got to work on day in and day out,” added De Sa.

De Sa says the international break came in handy for his side as he also got a chance to fine tune his troops.

“It was a good break for us. It gave us a little bit of time to work on a few things and get a few players to recover. We did play some good friendlies. We have had two friendly matches. We tried to cover as much as we can with what we have. I think it was a good week overall,” commented De Sa.
