Deon Hotto, meanwhile, will be looking for a fine display in helping Namibia overcome Senegal in Group H.

All five of the Pirates players have enjoyed some game time with the Soweto giants since the start of the season.

Vincent Pule – Bafana Bafana

The winger has been a key players in the Bucs team, with four assists to his name already in the season. The Free State born players continues to be a very important player for Pirates, and given a chance in Bafana, he could shine for the national team.

Tshegofatso Mabasa – Bafana Bafana

Mabasa seems to have have found back his scoring boots since recovering from an injury. He has proved to be very lethal in front of goal and this is his chance to show that he can deliver for the national team as he has done for Pirates.

Terrence Dzukamanja – Zimbabwe

With seven appearances for Bucs, Dzukamanja is one of the trusted players in the Warriors squad. But the forward is yet to score for Pirates this season. Maybe an international is what he might need to rediscover his scoring touch.

Gabadinho Mhango – Malawi

Two seasons ago, Mhango was hot property for Pirates scoring a lot of goals. But injuries have slowed down his progress and this season he has also featured three times for the club. Malawians will be keen to see their striker deliver for them agaisnt Ivory Coast.

Deon Hotto – Namibia

The Namibian has scored one goal and has one assist in the last seven games he played at Pirates. He is certainly an important player in the Namibian squad and he will have to bring his A game coming up against a strong Senegalese side
