Former Baroka star joins ABC League club

Phakaaathi has learnt that former Baroka FC star Nkosinathi Ndlovu will be playing his football in the ABC Motsepe league for Gauteng’s Dondol Stars.

The midfielder’s contract was terminated by Bakgaga for disciplinary issues prior to the start of the season.

Ndlovu, who was one of the shining players who helped Baroka get a promotion to the Absa Premiership two seasons ago, saw his time with the Limpopo based outfit come to an end after failing to report for pre-season camp.

A source close to the player has now revealed to Phakaaathi that after numerous times trying to plea with Bakgaga to take him back, the midfielder has now decided to sign with the third tier side to continue playing football.

“We all know the boy is talented, but discipline cost him his career. He would well be in the starting XI for Baroka week in and week out, but now he has to play in the ABC Motsepe League. He used to play for Dondol before signing for Baroka, so it won’t be a new environment for him. He is just 26-years old, I just hope he will impress and get back to the PSL,” said the source.

“This is the second time Ndlovu has had a fall-out with the club. Just before the start of last season, he pulled out the very same stunt of not reporting to training after hearing rumours that one of the big teams in Gauteng wanted to sign him. I seems he did not learn his lesson.”
