Majoro rues disallowed goal against Pirates
Cape Town City striker Lehlohonolo Majoro was left disappointed after he saw his goal against Orlando Pirates disallowed.

The City striker believes the goal could have made a huge difference in the game, which they ended up losing 1-0 courtesy of a late Thabo Qalinge strike at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.
“I saw a cross coming, and I went for the ball, I didn’t see the goalkeeper. But the lineman saw a different story, but I believe if it was a foul, then it is a foul. If it was a goal it would have been a different story because we could have got an early goal,” said the striker.

Majoro was, however, disappointed with the end result, saying they can’t continue playing well but ending up losing games.
“Regarding the performance, we played well, but it is another disappointing result. We can’t keep on playing well and not getting the desired result. We would rather play bad and get maximum points than playing good and lose the games.”
The loss saw City drop six points in a week, having lost their previous match 2-0 against Kaizer Chiefs at the Cape Town Stadium last weekend.
The Cape side will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they host Polokwane City in a league encounter on Friday.
