Galaxy resigned to losing Brooks, but will weigh options

'They know they are not going to be able to keep him because there are offers coming for him from the big clubs,' says the source.

TS Galaxy have resigned themselves to losing Ethan Brooks at the end of the season, Phakaaathi has learnt. Brooks has been a revelation this season and was also drafted into the Bafana Bafana team where he has also done well.

This has come with a number of suitors who are said to have enquired about the youngster’s availability.

“They know they are not going to be able to keep him because there are offers coming for him from the big clubs here.

“There have also been some enquiries from European clubs so that is an indication that the club might have to think about the future without him,” said a source.

Another source claimed that there are European clubs who are now monitoring Brooks and are asking about him.

“There is interest. There are clubs who have asked for his profile and I believe they are now following him closely to see if he fits in their plans. I don’t think he will be at Galaxy next season,” he said.
