Chiefs red-faced as Mahlasela injured
A source close to new Kaizer Chiefs recruit Kabelo Mahlasela has told Phakaaathi that the winger joined Amakhosi carrying an injury.

The club announced that the former Bloemfontein Celtic player will be out for close to three months with an injury they say he sustained at training.
According to the source, Mahlasela has been struggling with injuries in the last couple of years and that has been a big problem for him.

“He is injury-prone, but he has learned to manage them well. He joined the club with an injury and I am sure he aggravated it during the training session. It’s been happening to him for a few years now, but he has managed to stay on the field,” said the source.
The source added that he wondered how Chiefs missed out on the winger’s injury problems when he underwent his medical.
