Chiefs start preparing for life after Komphela
With calls by fans for Kaizer Chiefs to release coach Steve Komphela gaining momentum, a source has claimed the club have already started preparing for life after the embattled mentor.

Komphela is on the verge of being the first-ever Amakhosi coach not to win any silverware in three years, should his side lose out on the Nedbank Cup and Absa Premiership.
The side’s chances in the league were dealt a huge blow when they lost 3-1 to Orlando Pirates at the weekend.

“If you look at how the technical team has been changed, you will see that things are already happening. I think the management are already working with the coach who will take over from Komphela and he is making suggestions in terms of the people he will work with,” said the source.
