Chippa show interest in former Pirates midfielder
Chippa United are on the verge of signing former Orlando Pirates midfielder Sifiso Myeni, who has been out of the game for over a year after he was released by Bidvest Wits last season

The 30-year-old is set to be new coach Clinton Larsen’s first signing, as he believes he can help the side who are fighting relegation.
“One of Myeni’s qualities is his ability to shoot from range which is what Larsen has been preaching to his players since he took over. He wants them to not play too many passes when they are in the opponents’ box,” said a source.
Another source said Larsen had initially wanted Myeni when he was at Golden Arrows but a deal could not be reached at the time.
