Did Meyiwa lie about his age?
Kaizer Chiefs could be left with egg on their face if claims that Wiseman Meyiwa cooked his age, prove true.

Amakhosi dissolved their development structures in 2009 claiming there were too many over-aged players and they wanted to start afresh and screen players properly.

“I can tell you Meyiwa is not 17, he played with the likes of JB (Jabulani Ncubeni) in the Maritzburg development and I think he is even older that JB,” said a source who works for Maritzburg.
Ncubeni, who is now with AmaZulu, is 24 years old.
Amakhosi are known to be very conscious of their image which led to former assistant coach John Paintsil being sacked earlier this year as he was always in the tabloids for the wrong reasons.
