Ex-Chippa and Pirates defender training with Highlands

James Okwuosa has started training with Highlands Park as he tries to earn him a contract following his release from Chippa United.

The Nigerian defender is said to be a free agent after partying ways with the Chilli Boys.

Okwuosa struggled for game time at Chippa upon his return to the club in July last year, having spent some time with Orlando Pirates, where he also struggled to cement his place in the Bucs team.

The 28-year-old tough-tackling defender will be hoping to convince Highlands coach Owen Da Gama and his technical team to offer him a contract.
