Former Sundowns captain struggling to find a club

Nthethe has been without a club since he was released by Chippa in January. 


Former Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic and Chippa United defender Thabo Nthethe’s career might be nearing an end as he is struggling to find a club after his move to Baroka FC fell through earlier this year when he failed a medical.

A groin injury saw him miss out on joining Bakgaga, and that same injury might see the former Bafana Bafana defender not playing any football this year.

A source close to the player told the paper that while the 34-year-old is still hopeful of reviving his career, he might consider throwing in the towel.

Nthethe has been without a club since he was released by Chippa in January.
