Khuzwayo chasing Pirates’ No 1 jersey

The club is not in a rush to play him but the goalkeeper is raring to go nevertheless.

Brilliant Khuzwayo is ready to fight to be Orlando Pirates’ first-choice goalkeeper, having recovered from an ankle injury which has seen him out of action since he was signed at the beginning of the season, a source has revealed.

It is believed that even though he has made significant progress with his injury, the club is not in a rush to play him but the goalkeeper is raring to go nevertheless.

“He wants to play so badly, you can tell when he is watching from the stands during match days. But he is okay now, he should be back anytime. I think the club just don’t want to rush him,” said the source.
