Makaringe excited by Pirates move

The midfielder played an important role in helping Maritzburg United survive relegation by winning the promotion/relegation play-offs.

“The job is done, he is now happy and excited about going to Pirates. He was so determined to help Maritzburg win the play-offs. Now that all is done and dusted, he is excited about joining his new club. It’s a big move and everybody is happy for him. He showed he wasn’t distracted because he played very well.
“They have given him the green light and he will soon be announced as a Pirates player,” said the source.
