Sundowns star Jali accused of alienating teammates

Now his team-mates are not happy about the alleged special treatment that the former Orlando Pirates star is enjoying.


Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali is alleged to be at the centre of a dressing-room breakdown as he is believed to have demanded that coach Pitso Mosimane play him ahead of other players.

Jali was locked in a lengthy meeting with club president Patrice Motsepe towards the end of the season, where he expressed his grievances.

Now his teammates are not happy about the alleged special treatment that the former Orlando Pirates star is enjoying.

“Jali wanted to play as many games as possible so that coach Stuart Baxter could notice him and perhaps select him for the Afcon squad,” said a source.
