Unhappy defender wants out at Pirates

A source at Orlando Pirates has revealed that Abel Mabaso is not really entirely happy with his stay at the Buccaneers.

The source said Mabaso was not expecting to be warming the bench this much at the Soweto giants.

Mabaso left Chippa United to join the Buccaneers last year having been a key member of the Chilli Boys. But now he has found himself finding it very difficult to make the cut for the Bucs starting line-up, with only a couple appearances on his name so far.

“There is nothing as demoralising as being a regular at a club, then joining another club becoming just an ordinary player. That’s Mabaso’s situation, it’s not really going well for him, because when he came here he thought he would be able to be a regular starter, but it’s tough,” said a source.
