Middendorp unhappy with derby result
Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp believes that he side should have walked away with victory in Saturday's Soweto derby clash against Orlando Pirates.

The two Soweto giants played to a 1-1 draw, with Daniel Cardoso’s penalty cancelled out by Thembinkosi Lorch.
“No, no, absolutely not, with where we’re coming from with the youngsters in the team, I understand we’re playing a Champions League playing club,” Middendorp told SuperSport TV when asked if the draw was a fair result.
“But a bit more drive, a bit more going into it and we deserved to win with a one goal advantage, because of the tactical advantage, because of the drive we’ve seen in the beginning. It should be normal, maybe a 2-1 then we could say it.”
Middendorp also explained why he took out Happy Mashiane and replaced him with Philani Zulu at half-time.
“We changed with 1-0 leading, bringing on (Willard) Katsande but the structure was the same. It was just a change of the young guy [Happy Mashiane] and Philani Zulu in. It is just not to burn somebody in this age, in his first experience he got a little bit unconcentrated, I could see. That was all.”
