Moloi beats Chiefs, talks about heats and sprints
Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi says it is important for his team to keep up with the leading teams in the league.

The Chilli Boys beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday night to move to second on the log standings.
“If you say to me that I’ll be second on the log at the end of the season, I’ll take that. But you know, we’re going through the heats now. It’s before the sprinting race starts. Before you win the 100 metre race, you need to go through the heats,” Moloi told the media after the game.
“For me being second tells me that my boys will be ready for the sprints. You don’t want to be far off when the other teams start sprinting, because you’ll end up not being able to catch up with them.”

Moloi does not believe that being second will put more pressure on him, saying there’s always pressure at Chippa.
“There’s always pressure at Chippa, whether you’re down there or up there on the log. The fact that Chippa are the only team here in PE and Eastern Cape means there’s pressure to maintain their PSL status. So, pressure is always there.”
Chippa’s next game is against Ajax Cape Town at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night.
Ajax had to move their home game to this venue to unavailability of stadiums in and around Cape Town.
