Mosimane expecting a rain of goals against Pirates

Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates’ last two league encounters have produced 10 goals, with nine of those scored by the Brazilians.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is hoping for an avalanche of goals when the sides meet again this afternoon in the capital city as the Brazilians look to extend their lead at the top of the Absa Premiership.

“I won’t be expecting Pirates to be sitting back because they have got the goals. I would love the score to be 4-3, let’s see the goals,” said Mosimane.

“One thing I know is that they will be coming at us. I have seen all the games that they have played this season, they don’t sit back,” added the former Bafana Bafana coach ahead of the match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

“When you play Pirates there are too many toe-to-toes. They play proper football, there are goals, there are movements and there are breaks and transitions. They will catch us on the transition, they will trouble us and I think that is what supporters want to see,” Mosimane concluded.
