Amakhosi, who have often been accused of tapping up players, have been linked with players such as Jeremy Brockie, Ndumiso Mabena, Tshwarelo Bereng and Bhongolethu Jayiya.
“We have seen names bandied around in the media,” Motaung said on the club’s official website.
“We would like to reiterate that if there are players that we are interested in to sign, we will follow the correct procedure.
“We do not want to destabilise other clubs, and we also don’t want to cause confusion to our supporters. Any player movement will be announced via our official media platforms.”

Chiefs have already confirmed the signings of Philani Zulu from Maritzburg United and Teenage Hadebe from Zimbabwe’s Chicken Inn.
Meanwhile, former Chiefs striker Lewis Macha has reportedly joined Baroka FC.
Macha, who was released by Chiefs at the end of last season, is said to have signed a two-year deal.
