Ngcongca urges Sundowns to look into the future

Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Anele Ngcongca says the team have got to keep looking forward and forget past results in their quest for consecutive successes in the Absa Premiership and Caf Champions League.

Pitso Mosimane’s team struggled and failed to register a win against Polokwane City in a league match on Tuesday night but still have a lot to play for as they still two games behind current leaders, Bidvest Wits.

“We are disappointed (with the result) but we are looking into the future, we have to keep going,” Ngcongca said of Tuesday’s goalless draw.

The Brazilians left South Africa on Wednesday heading to Uganda where they play Kampala Capital City Authority in the second leg of the preliminary round of the Champions League.

Masandawana have an uncomfortable 2-1 lead going into Friday’s match.
