No special plan for inconsistent Chiefs – Menzo

Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo says the Urban Warriors will prepare for Saturday’s game against Kaizer Chiefs like they did for their previous games.

Ajax, who beat Chippa United 1-0 last weekend, are set to meet Amakhosi at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday night.

“Even though they are inconsistent, they’re still the top team in the league. They’ve got good players. It’s nice to play against top teams,” Menzo told the media on Thursday.

“The approach will be the same like the one we took in the last few games. [I’ll tell the players] Don’t concede and we’ll get our chances to score. As long we don’t concede we’ll always have a chance.”

Ajax midfielder Bantu Mzwakali said spirits were high at the camp ahead of the Chiefs clash.

“The spirit is high in the camp because we are about to play Kaizer Chiefs. It’s one of those game where you don’t have to be scared but to enjoy. Everyone in the team wants to play against Kaizer Chiefs especially away in Durban. I think we’ll do well in this game,” added Mzwakali.
