Pirates star Lorch confirms overseas interest
Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch has revealed that he received overseas offers at the end of last season after winning the 2018/19 Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards.

The Bafana Bafana star says the offers were not good enough for him to move from the Sea Robbers.
“Yes, I did have some offers from overseas but they were not good [enough] for me and the club,” Lorch told reporters.
“My focus is on Pirates. I have a contract with the club and I will honour that.”
Lorch is confident that there’ll more overseas offers for him in the future.
“A number of players have gone overseas after winning the Footballer of the Season [award] but I think my time will come,” he said.
“I just have to continue working hard and the move will happen eventually, I hope. Obviously, it’s any player’s dream to play in a top league overseas.”
