Pitso congratulates Teboho Moloi for PSL award

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has congratulated Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi on being voted the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month for November.

Moloi received the award at the Premier Soccer League offices on Monday.

“I have seen Coach Teboho come up as a coach and I had no doubt he would be where he is right now and I know he still has a lot more to contribute to the game,” Mosimane told the club’s website.

“‘Tebza’ [Moloi] doesn’t lack the patience required, but it was worth the wait because for the longest time, he was learning the trade and providing the support as an assistant coach, and you can’t do it for that long if you don’t have the love. His love and passion for the game is also evident in the quality of football played by Chippa United,” added Mosimane.

Mosimane also congratulated club captain Hlompho Kekana for winning the Player of the Month award.

“And of course I’m really happy for ‘Keke’ [Hlompho] he deserves it because he really works hard on his game. His contribution goes beyond just on the pitch, but also provides leadership off the field, especially for the youngsters.

“I also believe he will win Goal of the Month for his long-range effort against Orlando Pirates. That goal was truly special and in a class of its own, perhaps should see Hlompho nominated for the Puskas Awards once again,” concluded Mosimane.
