Wits winger confirms Chiefs move

Vincent Pule has confirmed he will be joining Kaizer Chiefs in the new season.


Reports emerged during the January transfer window that the Bidvest Wits winger had signed a pre-contract with Chiefs.

Neither party was able to confirm the reports, with Wits coach Gavin Hunt only confirming that Pule would definitely be leaving the Clever Boys to join a ‘big club’ at the end of the season.

Pule has now come out to confirm the Chiefs, and also explained why he opted to leave Wits and join Chiefs.

“As a person, you have to try new challenges and this [move to Chiefs] is my next one. The time had come for me to take my game to the next step,” Pule told The Sowetan.

Pule has featured 18 times for Wits so far this season, scoring three goals in the process.
