Mosimane in hot water with PSL over referees, Chiefs comments

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that it has written to Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane regarding comments he has made about Kaizer Chiefs profiting unfairly from referees’ mistakes.

Mosimane made a series of comments in recent weeks regarding match officials, claiming that Chiefs were “benefiting” from refereeing mistakes.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor has written to Mamelodi Sundowns and head coach Mr Pitso Mosimane in relation to the comments attributed to him on match officials last week,” read a statement from the PSL.

“The League prosecutor has given Mr Mosimane five days to respond to the letters sent to him to either deny or admit the comments attributed to him in the media.”
