Safa cars repossessed after CCMA ruling

By Phakaaathi Reporter

Isolezwe reports that following a court order after a CCMA hearing regarding the none payment of salaries to employees, two Mercedes Benz Sprinters worth R70 000 each were sold to cover the outstanding salaries.

Safa’s head of communications, Dominic Chimhavi told Isoleswe he knew nothing about the vehicle being sold to cover the outstanding salaries to employees.

“I don’t know how matters from the regional offices affect Safa head office because the region needs to deal with the matter,” Chimhavi was quoted as saying by Isolezwe.

“I don’t have all the information regarding this matter and I will investigate further to find out what is going on with this issue.”
