Was Gabuza selfish to not attend his son’s funeral?

SuperSport United were crowned MTN8 champions after beating Highlands Park 1-0 in the final at Orlando Stadium this past weekend.

Matsatsantsa’s celebrations, however, were marred by Thamsanqa Gabuza’s revelations that his son had died last Monday and the funeral was on Thursday and he did not attend it because he wanted to prepare for the final.

These revelations are said to have a left sour taste in SuperSport coach Kaitano Tembo and his players’ mouths with some questioning why he kept the news to himself while others praised him for his bravery.

Was Gabuza selfish not to attend his son’s funeral or did he take a good decision to not interrupt SuperSport’s preparations for the MTN8 final?

Watch as Phakaaathi host Khaya Ndubane and his guests, Tshepo Ntsoelengoe and Mike Gumede, answer these questions and also talk about the final which took place this past weekend.
