A man was hijacked in Springs Central on the evening of October 5, losing his silver Chevrolet. According to a reliable source, the incident occurred while the victim was visiting a friend.

He had parked outside the friend’s home and was using his phone when a masked man appeared from behind the vehicle and opened the driver’s side door.

“The man pointed a firearm at the driver, demanded his cellphone, and ordered him out of the car. The hijacker then got inside and drove off,” the source said.

No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. The source added that the vehicle is uninsured and has no tracking device.
