Shoestring salsa tacos
Tacos are the best option for busy weeknights. These are so quick to make and way better than take-out.
You’ll need: 100g McCain Shoestring Fries; 3 each Crunchy Taco Shells; 50g cheddar cheese, grated; ½ each avocado, diced; 30ml sour cream; ½ each tomato, diced; ¼ each red onion diced; 1each Jalapeno, seeded and diced; ½ clove garlic, minced; few leaves of Cilantro, finely chopped.
How to:
Fry McCain Shoestring Fries in a deep fryer until cooked and crispy then set aside.
For the salsa, mix tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno, garlic, cilantro and lime juice together until well mixed and allow to sit in the fridge until ready to use.
Fill the taco shell with few fries in each shell, then top with cheese. Bake in the oven for five minutes.
Remove from the oven.
Top with the salsa, sour cream and avocado, then serve immediately.
