VEREENIGING. – The Sovereign Auto Repair Centre in General Smuts Road, an authorised BMW repair centre, was closed on Friday morning as a result of a Covid-19 scare.

Ivan Govender of Sovereign Auto Repair Centre told Vaalweekblad that an employee had been in contact with a person who had tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

According to Govender the employee was sent to undergo testing and the repair centre closed.

“While we are awaiting the results we have taken the necessary safety precautions,” said Govender.
