VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Vanderbijlpark Police Station Commander, Brigadier Nikiwe Hoaeane together with her managers, bid farewell to the newly recruited Constables who will be dispersed to various police station.
The farewell function of 25 Constables was hosted at the station recently.
Speaker after speaker encouraged the officers to always listen to the voice of the voiceless, come to their rescue and to take their job to the next level.
Constables were requested to always serve with distinctions.
Hoaeane said that every one of them had to walk the plank, and that putting the name of the organization (SAPS) first should be the priority.

Some of the Constables received certificates of appreciation on the day.

“There’s rules and regulations here that need to be followed. The time you took an oath you were alone, so the ball is in your court. If you don’t toe the line, you will hit the rock and you will have to take a fall alone. Here you will not survive if you don’t know who you are. Consultation is very important as you are powerful through this uniform. It is not just a blue uniform, your blood should also be blue,” she concluded.
