A woman in her 30s was left critically injured on Wednesday afternoon in a home invasion on Eeufees Road in Walkerville.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find local authorities and security members already in attendance.
Medics were lead into the home where they found the patient.

ER24 reports that on assessment, it was found that a woman in her 30s had sustained gunshot wounds to her leg, back and abdomen, leaving her in a critical condition.

“The woman was treated for her injuries and provided with several advanced life support interventions before she was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.”
