The Makery reopens to develop the Midvaal community
HENLEY-ON-KLIP. - The Makery will be reopening its doors for the first time in years and will be doing so with a series of locally produced goods markets in a bid to develop the Midvaal community.

A total of 60 local businesses and entrepreneurs will showcase their exciting crafts, food and skills on Saturday, 3 October at The Makery.
The magnificent 11-acre property will open their gates free-of-charge to businesses. Marketgoers will be entertained by local artists. A play area for children filled with educational programs hosted by local institutions will also be rolled out on the
day.
The Makery Small Business Market brought to you by the Sargent Family Estate will be hosting a series of these events in a bid to develop the local community. “Let’s work together to achieve job creation, while bringing eco-tourism and youth development to Midvaal,” says owner Dave Sargent.
The Makery is best known for its ample space. People will be able to enjoy picnic areas that will be set-up while observing COVID-19 regulations. Craft gin and beer will also be on sale.
Sargent urged any local businesses or entrepreneurs that want to trade to apply online by visiting makery.co.za.
